Vladimir Putin Speaks Out On Israel-Hamas War

According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Israel took certain “genuinely Palestinian lands” mostly with the “use of military force.”

Vladimir Putin stated at the Energy Week forum of Russia in Moscow that the Palestinian crisis is at the heart of everyone who proclaims Islam and that they see it all as a symbol of injustice on an inconceivable scale.

According to Putin, the Palestinian matter is at the heart of everyone in the region. He said that of course, he believes that in the heart of every Muslim… Everything that is happening – not just now, but for decades – is regarded as a manifestation of injustice magnified to inconceivable proportions.

Vladimir  Putin criticized Washington for a pro-Israel policy that works against the needs of the Palestinian people in his first public statement on the situation, which has witnessed Israeli raids on Gaza after Hamas militants targeted southern Israel over the weekend.

Putin stated during a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani at the Kremlin on Tuesday that he believes many will agree that this is a clear illustration of US strategy failure in the Middle East.

Since Hamas launched its offensive on Israel on Saturday, over 2,100 people have been murdered on both sides of the conflict, prompting Israeli forces to retaliate. Thousands more have been injured, and many more have been kidnapped, tortured, and murdered by Hamas.

Vladimir Putin accused the Hamas terror attacks of US interventionism, alleging that the US military monitored and handled tensions between the two regions without regard for Palestinians’ long-term interests.

Following the unexpected attack on Israel by Hamas militants on Saturday, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced that the US was bringing a carrier strike group, including the USS Gerald R. Ford, nearer to Israel.

Putin, addressing at the Moscow Energy Conference, called the US move, which Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan also slammed on Tuesday, a mistake.

He questioned why the United States continues to drag aircraft carrier groups towards the Mediterranean Sea. He also claimed that he didn’t fully get the message. Are they planning to bomb Lebanon?

He highlighted that the original plan was to form two distinct sovereign nations, Israel and Palestine, but that choice was only partially implemented.

Furthermore, he claimed that Israel has taken part of the areas that Palestinians always believed to be authentically Palestinian – at various times and in various ways, but largely, of course, through the use of military power.

Vladimir Putin’s remarks, given more than three days after the fighting began, have echoed Russian officials’ and media leaders’ claims that the West failed to maintain peace and security in the region.

The construction of a Palestinian state, according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, is the “most reliable” approach for peace in Israel, and the Kremlin has stated that it is in communication with both sides to resolve the war.

Following the Islamist group Hezbollah’s declared involvement in an anti-tank guided missile assault on an Israeli army base near the Lebanon border, Israel launched artillery into Lebanese territory on Wednesday.

Hezbollah said it fired guided missiles at an Israeli location in response to the deaths of its comrades earlier this week in Israeli shelling, threatening “decisive” countermeasures to strikes on Lebanese land, particularly deadly ones. The group stated the attack resulted in a “large number” of victims but provided no details.

US Vice President Joe Biden called the Palestinian terrorist group’s unexpected attack on Israel “sheer evil” and delivered a warning to its Iranian patrons. The United States is extending military assistance to Israel, with the first plane delivering American armaments landing in southern Israel on Tuesday evening.

Meanwhile, Israeli airplanes attacked Gaza twice overnight Tuesday, attacking more than 200 targets in a Gaza City area that Israel claimed Hamas was using to launch attacks, according to Reuters.
