The most recent statistics issued by the Health Ministry in Gaza, which is managed by Hamas, show that since October 7th, over 10,000 Palestinians have died.

More than 4,100 children and 2,640 women are among the somber toll.

This comes after numerous Palestinians were killed by Israeli bombings on Sunday that targeted two refugee camps in the central Gaza Strip, according to health officials.

Thus far, Israel has dismissed US recommendations for a humanitarian break from its ceaseless bombardment of Gaza and the increasing number of civilian casualties.

Over 140 Palestinians have lost their lives to Israeli incursions and settler brutality in the West Bank under Israeli occupation.

Over 1,400 Israelis have lost their lives in the conflict, the majority of them in the Hamas strike on October 7 that sparked it, and the militant group took 242 Israeli hostages into Gaza.

Since Wednesday, over 1,100 individuals have evacuated the Gaza Strip via the Rafah crossing as a result of an apparent agreement between Israel, Egypt, the United States, and Qatar, which mediates with Hamas.

The EU grants Gaza €25 million in aid. Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, revealed on Monday that the EU will be providing an additional 25 million euros in help to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, increasing the total amount of aid to 100 million.

Von der Leyen also discussed the creation of a naval route from Cyprus to provide aid to the Gaza Strip from Brussels.

Ebrahim Raisi, the president of Iran, charged on Monday that Israel is being “encouraged” by the US to “kill and commit unkind acts” toward Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

She emphasized to European diplomats that while Israel has the right to battle Hamas, it also has to take all reasonable precautions to prevent civilian casualties.

During the ferocious ground battle on Monday, Israel extensively shelled the Gaza Strip. In the beleaguered Palestinian neighborhood, where the war with Israel has so far claimed almost 10,000 lives, half of whom are minors, Hamas claimed that strikes overnight had killed more than 200 people.

These are slaughterhouses! We have already removed forty dead from the debris after they demolished three houses on the heads of the occupants, women, and children, central Gaza resident Mahmoud Mechmech told AFP.

The Israeli army launched “intensive” attacks on Palestinians

The Israeli army had previously declared that it would launch “intensive” attacks and that they would continue for “several days.”

On October 7, Israel started an attack on Gaza following a devastating onslaught by Hamas that resulted in the deaths of 1,400 Palestinians.

According to Israel, a fierce battle is currently occurring in the northern part of the Strip, surrounding Gaza City, which is currently besieged.

According to Israeli army spokesman General Daniel Hagari, the region has been divided into Gaza South and Gaza North by the country’s troops.

With the announcement that soldiers will soon have “less limited” access to their operations, the army issued a fresh appeal on Monday morning for Palestinian people to evacuate the northern Gaza Strip.

We will then be capable of taking down Hamas, base by stronghold, brigade by battalion, until we accomplish our ultimate objective, which is to cleanse the Gaza Strip as a whole—the whole Gaza Strip—of Hamas, stated a spokesperson.

Ebrahim Raisi, the president of Iran, charged on Monday that Israel is being “encouraged” by the US to “kill and commit unkind acts” toward Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Raisi reiterated her demand for a “right-away ceasefire” in Gaza during a meeting with the prime minister of Iraq in Tehran.

At a press conference with Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani, he stated, We think that the attacks must cease as soon as possible, that an end to violence must be stated right away, and that aid be sent to the persecuted and patriotic citizens of Gaza.
